Zinc alloy is base on Zinc material which is composed of zinc and other elements. Al, Cu, Mg, CD, Pb, Ti, etc.. Zinc alloy with low melting point, good fluidity, easy welding, brazing and plastic processing, in the atmospheric corrosion, residual waste for recycling and remelting; but low creep strength, prone to natural aging causes size change. Melt preparation, die casting or rolling pressure. According to the manufacturing process can be divided into cast zinc alloy and zinc alloy.
Advantage: High density, good casting properties, can be a complex shape, thin wall, low melting point, melting at 385 degrees, easy to die casting, there is good at room temperature mechanical properties and wear resistance, melting and casting iron, non corrosive, non stick mold, a variety of surface treatment: electroplating, spray, spray paint, polishing, grinding, etc. A Better “Forming effect” choice for 3D pattern.
Defect: The corrosion resistance is poor, zinc alloy die casting is not suitable in the environment of high temperature and low temperature (0°C), the tensile strength and low temperature impact properties are significantly decreased, the cost of the mould is higher.
Zinc Alloy, the easiest alloy to cast, it offers high ductility, high impact strength and is easily plated. Zinc Alloy is economical for small parts, has a low melting point and promotes long die life.
